Chance’s publicist has released a statement confirming this unfortunate news.
Gen V and Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina luminary Chance Perdomo has tragically passed away at the age of 27, as confirmed by his publicist.
Chance, who portrayed Andre Anderson in The Boys derivative, met his untimely demise due to a motorcycle accident.
His publicist validated this information with Variety through a statement, quoting: “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chance Perdomo, a result of a tragic motorcycle incident. Authorities have verified that there were no other individuals involved.”
The British actor Chance ascended to global fame as Ambrose Spellman in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Post his stint on the show, he took on the characters of Landon in After We Fell, After Ever Happy, and After Everything.
In 2019, he received a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Leading Actor for his role in the BBC Three series Killed by My Debt.
His latest role was as Andre in Prime Video’s Gen V.
Following the confirmation of his passing, the Gen V producers issued a statement, saying: “We are struggling to digest this news. For those who knew him and collaborated with him, Chance was always charming and cheerful, a vibrant powerhouse of talent, and above all, a genuinely kind-hearted person. Even speaking of him in past tense feels incomprehensible.”
