During the Selling Sunset season 7 reunion, Alex Hall was grilled by host Tan France regarding her connection with Tyler. Unfortunately, the news isn’t good.
Following the events of The OC season 2, where Alex and Tyler delved into their emotions and even shared a kiss, the duo mentioned they were “maneuvering [their] bond” and refrained from further discussing any romance speculation.
In the reunion, the teaser for The OC season 3 was unveiled, hinting at a rough journey ahead for Alex and Tyler.
During an intense moment, Alex confronts Tyler about his actions post-kiss. “You charmed me, only to vanish,” she accuses, pressing him on their relationship status. Later, Tyler mentions that they are not “seeing eye to eye.”
When questioned by Tan about Tyler’s departure from the brokerage, Alex admitted: “I found out about his exit when he practically departed.” She further disclosed that Tyler had blocked her and cut off contact.
“I seek answers,” Alex expressed, indicating her skepticism towards the validity of the block.
In October 2023, Tyler bid adieu to the Oppenheim Group to join forces with his father John Stanaland at the real estate enterprise Douglas Elliman. Jason Oppenheim verified Tyler’s departure from the brokerage, with no trace of him left on the website.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Tyler stated: “Leaving the Oppenheim Group was a tough call, but the right one for me and my clients. I’m not only joining Douglas Elliman with my dad and brother, but aligning with a brand boasting unparalleled market presence and a prestigious network of agents and industry influencers.”
Tyler is set to grace the upcoming season 3 of The OC, but future seasons may not feature him: “The OC revolves around Oppenheim Group agents. Given the current scenario, I’ll be stationed at Douglas Elliman.”
