Young Finn Wolfhard set to Co-Direct and Star in Horror Comedy Flick
The rising star Finn Wolfhard, well recognized for his lead role as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, as well as appearances in the It remakes and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, has established a solid reputation in the entertainment industry. Not only has he amassed a portfolio of film roles, but he has also effectively managed his online persona. In addition to his acting successes, Wolfhard has ventured into directing, having previously helmed the short film Night Shifts in 2020. Now, Wolfhard is on track to add another directorial achievement to his list.
Today, Wolfhard revealed the commencement of filming on Hell of a Summer, a fresh horror comedy movie produced by 30West, in which he will take on dual roles as a lead actor and co-director. Joining him in this project is Billy Bryk, another talented young actor and director who previously starred in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and When You Finish Saving the World.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Wolfhard stated, “I am thrilled to collaborate on my inaugural feature film co-directing endeavor. It is an honor to work alongside an extraordinary ensemble and crew, and partnering with esteemed entities like 30West and Aggregate is truly a dream come true.”
