Ukrainian Armed Forces Report Destruction of Russian Battleship
Footage has started circulating on various social media platforms depicting numerous explosions occurring around a harbor in Berdyansk, a city in Ukraine currently under Russian occupation. Among these videos was one showing a significant Russian transport vessel, previously moored at the harbor, consumed by intense explosions.
The vessel in question has been identified as the Russian battleship Orsk, which had been unloading military-grade supplies along with several other ships in recent days. The Ukrainian military has claimed responsibility for the destruction of the Orsk, as well as inflicting significant damage upon the other vessels.
“A 3,000-ton fuel reservoir was also obliterated. The blaze extended to the enemy’s armory. Specifics regarding the harm caused to the occupying force are being ascertained,” they stated in a Facebook update.
