‘Spectacular Success for Everything Everywhere All At Once’ at the Oscars
The acclaimed movie secured victories in seven different fields.
The 2023 Academy Awards took place on Sunday evening, highlighting the finest cinematic achievements of the past year. The event was refreshingly devoid of drama in comparison to previous years, and notably, it turned into a deeply moving occasion for a specific film.

The widely celebrated Everything Everywhere All At Once took center stage at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday, clinching seven awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Film Editing.
Michelle Yeoh, the recipient of the Best Actress award, also made history as the first woman of Asian descent to win this accolade. In her acceptance speech, she expressed pride, stating, “This is a symbol of hope and potential for all the young boys and girls who bear resemblance to me watching this evening. It demonstrates that dreaming big leads to realizations. And ladies, never let anyone convince you that you have surpassed your prime.”

The triumph also brought profound emotions for Best Supporting Actor winner, Ke Huy Quan, who had not been seen in any films since his last role in 1985’s The Goonies. “My journey commenced on a boat. I endured a year in a refugee camp. Here I am, unexpectedly, on the grandest platform of Hollywood,” he remarked. “They say tales like this come to pass only in the movies. I can hardly believe that it is unfolding before me. This is the quintessential American dream!”
“Dreams necessitate unwavering faith. I nearly relinquished mine,” Quan declared tearfully. “To all of you out there, safeguard the existence of your dreams.”
