When I was little, my dad would play the piano all the time. Usually, he’d just noodle around a bit for fun, but sometimes, if my sister or I were feeling down, he’d bring us into the living room, sit us down, and play us Billy Joel’s “Lullabye.” That was always such a wonderful feeling, and to this day, whenever I hear that song, I feel an inexplicable weight off my shoulders.
