Revelation of Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Ink

The proprietor of skims displays her concealed body art and its significance

Back in 2009, during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, Kim Kardashian famously declared her aversion to getting a tattoo.

Despite previously likening tattoos to affixing a “decal on a luxury car,” Kim recently confessed on The Kardashians that she had clandestinely acquired one in an unexpected spot.

The recently aired segment from earlier this year shows Kim confiding in her close friend and hairdresser, Chris Appleton, about how, following her hosting of Saturday Night Live in 2021, she obtained a covert tattoo.

“Something unknown about me,” she revealed. “All my friends and I got matching tattoos, with everyone getting them on their hands, and I had thought, ‘There’s no way I’ll ever get a tattoo.'”

A behind-the-scenes footage then shows Kim receiving her tattoo while accompanied by her sister, Khloe Kardashian, and a few friends.

“I finally adorned a luxury car,” she quipped humorously.

She mentioned, “It’s an eternal symbol,” and proceeded to recount the events of the night she got her tattoos.

So, why the change in stance? In an old video from the parlor, she joked, “This is how you commemorate SNL – with a small tattoo at 4:30 in the morning.”
