Nicki Minaj, the renowned rapper, finds herself entangled in a legal battle as she faces a lawsuit over alleged unpaid bills for custom jewelry. However, her attorney vehemently denies any responsibility on her part, asserting that the jeweler is merely seeking publicity by targeting her.
A West Hollywood jeweler is taking legal action against Nicki, claiming that they provided her with borrowed jewelry—a customary practice in the world of celebrities. However, the jeweler alleges that some of the pieces were returned in a damaged state, which is far from ordinary.
According to documents, Nicki’s stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, signed a contract with Roseark jewelry store, wherein the store agreed to loan jewelry to Nicki for a public appearance. The contract stipulated that Brett should return the borrowed items within a week and be liable for any damages that may occur while in his possession.
Roseark alleges that Brett failed to return 66 pieces of jewelry by the agreed-upon deadline. Furthermore, upon finally receiving the jewelry, the store noticed visible damage to a pair of earrings and a leaf ring.

A close source to Nicki informed TMZ that all the borrowed jewelry was returned on time as promised. The source added that the jeweler only raised concerns about a missing stone after having the items in their possession for a considerable period.
In an attempt to resolve the matter, Roseark claims to have sent invoices to Brett for the damages, totaling $26,239.50, along with interest. Despite their persistent efforts, the jewelry store asserts that they have not received payment.
Consequently, Roseark has chosen to sue both Nicki and her stylist, seeking restitution. It is worth noting that Nicki herself had no direct dealings with the jeweler.
Responding to the lawsuit, Nicki’s attorney, Jordan Siev, firmly stated, “We have not been presented with any evidence that Nicki damaged any of the jewelry at issue. This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously.”
As the legal proceedings unfold, the outcome of this case will determine the extent of Nicki Minaj’s involvement and whether the claims against her hold any merit. Until then, the rapper remains resolute in her denial of responsibility for the alleged damages, with her legal team prepared to fight against the accusations.
