Microsoft Initiates Competition to Secure a SpongeBob-Themed Xbox
One intriguing aspect about SpongeBob SquarePants is his remarkable versatility in branding. His image can be seamlessly incorporated into a wide array of products, transcending mere superficial depictions like a basic JPEG on a shirt. This iconic yellow, holey, and expressive face has defied expectations, providing Nickelodeon with enduring branding flexibility. And now, this iconic imagery has adorned an Xbox Series X.
Recently, Microsoft unveiled an enticing contest on the official Xbox Twitter feed. In a bid to promote the newly launched brawler, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Microsoft is presenting two extremely limited-edition Xbox Series X consoles. One of these consoles features the distinctive SpongeBob SquarePants design, resembling the time he mimicked a marble sculpture. The second console is themed after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and does not evoke the same humorous charm. Each console is accompanied by a controller also customized with the distinct color scheme of the respective console.
