Michael B. Jordan Laughs About Split on SNL
Jordan was playfully teased by his co-stars during the show.
Last Saturday, the talented actor Michael B. Jordan had the opportunity to be the host on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live. This marked his first time hosting the popular comedy show and one of his initial major appearances since separating from model and businesswoman Lori Harvey in June last year, which became the focal point of Jordan’s opening monologue.

“After a breakup, most people usually think, ‘I’m going to improve my physique.’ But I was already in Creed shape! So I had to think, ‘Okay, I guess I’ll learn a new language.’ Anyway, estoy en Raya,” joked Jordan.
“After the split, everyone assumed I was devastated because when the news broke, I was at a basketball game, and they captured me looking like this,” Jordan remarked, referring to memes showing him appearing downcast at a basketball game post-breakup. “Well, I was just hanging out. But the internet decided that was my sad face.”
“Fortunately, if you search ‘Sad Michael Jordan’ on Google, the first 8,000 results are of my dad, the basketball legend Michael Jordan, looking melancholic,” he quipped.

During his monologue, some of Jordan’s SNL colleagues playfully intervened to try their luck with him, including Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Punkie Johnson.
Johnson’s interaction, in particular, led to an entertaining back-and-forth. “Aren’t you gay?” inquired Jordan, to which she replied, “I am, but you’re Michael B. Jordan, and I’m Punkie B. Curious. I mean, even vegans have cheat days, right?”
