Marvel Unveils First Preview for ‘Hawkeye’ Series
Marvel and Disney have been incredibly successful with their MCU series on Disney+. Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki have attracted a multitude of new subscribers to the platform, as well as generated substantial revenue through merchandise sales. Wandavision was notably nominated for 23 Emmys, securing awards for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour) and Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes. With the holiday season approaching fast, it’s nearly time to see if Disney and Marvel can achieve another hit with their upcoming release, Hawkeye.
Today, Marvel and Disney unveiled the initial preview for the long-awaited Hawkeye Disney+ series, tracing the journey of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), the world’s premier archer, post-Avengers: Endgame. Similar to the preceding Disney+ series, Hawkeye will explore the repercussions of Clint losing his family to Thanos, his temporary role as the vigilante Ronin, and the eventual return of his family. Clint longs to spend the Christmas holiday with the family he dearly missed, but a new individual has assumed the Ronin identity, compelling him to take action. This individual happens to be Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), an archer whose skills rival Clint’s and who has been following his superhero career since its inception.

Notably, Alaqua Cox will portray Maya Lopez, also known as the superhero Echo, set to appear in her own Disney+ series in the future. At present, Hawkeye is scheduled to premiere on November 24 with a series of six episodes.
