MAFS UK Couples Who Are Still Together
Here’s a look at the Married At First Sight UK couples who remain together after participating in the social experiment across all seasons of the series.
Married At First Sight UK launched in 2015 with experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling, and Charlene Douglas guiding the participants through their relationships.
While many couples face challenges despite being matched expertly, viewers may be surprised by the number of pairs from the reality series who have successfully maintained their relationships.
In the latest season (season nine), couples like Nathan and Lacey, as well as Ross and Sacha, made it to the final vows, but unfortunately, their relationships did not last beyond the experiment.
Recently, the couple was spotted enjoying a night out in Manchester, holding hands and sharing kisses. Following this, Alex confirmed they are trying to reignite their romance.
Despite facing challenges throughout MAFS UK 2023, Paul and Tasha reached the final vows and have since been thriving in their relationship.
The couple frequently shares updates about each other online and spoke to Grazia earlier in 2024, discussing their plans to cohabit.
“Paul’s gonna move up north, he’s gonna be a northerner,” Tasha shared with the publication, to which Paul responded, “I’m used to moving about in life so I’m looking forward to it. But up north, that’s a first for me. I don’t know how I feel about it – the accents!”
Shona and Matt are somewhat of a surprise inclusion on this list, as they were not actually matched by the show’s experts.
Both participants entered season eight at different stages, with Shona initially paired with Brad Skelly and Matt with Adrienne Naylor, the latter couple managing to reach the final vows.
Unfortunately, Brad exhibited troubling behavior during the show, leading the experts to intervene and have him removed.
Subsequently, Matt and Adrienna ended their relationship once filming concluded, and he and Shona began dating. They are still together today, with Shona recently announcing on social media that Matt has moved in on October 24th.
Zoe and Jenna will always be remembered as trailblazers, being the first lesbian couple to participate in MAFS UK. Their inaugural experience was a success, as the experts truly matched them well.
Not only are they still deeply in love two years after their initial meeting on the show, but they also shared their real-life engagement news in June 2024.
“We’ve been keeping a little secret… A week ago the absolute love of my life asked me to marry her,” Jenna shared on her Instagram.
“From me being a little slow on the uptake, thinking Zoe had just gone a little overboard for date night to Bobo setting himself on fire. It was perfect and chaotic and just very “us.”
“Not to sound cliché, but I truly didn’t believe that this kind of love exists. Having someone who loves, cares for, and respects you as much as you do for them is an amazing feeling…and now I get to marry my best friend instead of a stranger!”
“I guess we have a particular TV show to thank for setting us up on the wildest first date ever… so thank you @e4mafsuk @e4grams.”
“I adore you @zoeclifton… We are going to make the cutest little old married lesbian couple ever!!! and what a way to celebrate pride month,” she concluded.
Tayah and Adam also made a mark of their own following their season on MAFS UK. The couple reached the final vows, where Adam kneeled and made a genuine proposal to his on-screen partner.
A year later, they welcomed a child named Beau, and in 2023, the reality television pair tied the knot.
Tayah celebrated their special day on Instagram, sharing a post with the caption: “Finishing the year off strong, 28/12/23,” and many fans flocked to congratulate them.
One commenter wrote: “Awww you guys congratulations. I watched your journey on MAFS,” while another added: “Very genuine people, very genuine love and I am so happy for you both xx.”
Owen spotted a MAFS advertisement during a night out at a pub and, while under the influence, applied for the show. According to a tabloid interview, it turned out to be the best decision he ever made: “A few beers later when I was back at home, I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Matched by the experts, Owen and Michelle have since been together for nearly five years before marrying and welcoming their first child together, a daughter named Jessica, in December 2023.
