Love Is Blind UK Unveils Exciting Return For Season 2
Love is Blind UK is set to return with its second season, as confirmed by hosts Matt and Emma Willis.
Love is Blind UK has achieved significant popularity since the beloved dating show was adapted for a British audience, with Matt and Emma Willis as the hosts.
As the final two episodes premiered, revealing whether contestants like Freddie and Cat, Nicole and Benaiah, Jasmine and Bobby, Demi and Ollie, and Maria and Tom tied the knot, Netflix announced Love is Blind UK will indeed continue with season 2.
“We have some updates for you,” Matt shared in a video posted by Netflix. “Yep, we can’t stop feeling the emotions, so we’re introducing another round of romance!”
Emma concluded the video: “Prepare to fall in love with love once more and discover whether love is indeed blind.”
Love is Blind UK season 2 has yet to receive a premiere date, but considering the lengthy filming process for the show, it could be until late 2024 before the new season airs.
This announcement follows the remarkable success of the Netflix dating series, as audiences became engrossed in the journeys of Ollie and Demi, Sabrina and Steven, along with Jasmine and Bobby after they got engaged without ever having met face-to-face.
Following their engagements, the couples enjoyed a honeymoon in Corfu, before moving in together in a London flat and introducing each other to their families and friends prior to their wedding day.
The wedding ceremonies carry legal weight, ensuring contestants take the experiment earnestly, as ‘I do’ means they are truly married.
The concluding two episodes were released on Wednesday, 21st August, finally revealing to viewers who followed through with their commitments after getting engaged sight unseen.
The reunion episode is slated to broadcast on Monday, 26th August, providing a more contemporary update on the relationships between the contestants and their current status.
