‘Locke & Key’ Final Season Confirmed
Following its debut in 2020, the series Locke & Key proved to be a unexpected success on Netflix. Its captivating supernatural enigma combined with endearing and identifiable personalities resulted in impressive ratings and audience engagement, leading Netflix to approve additional seasons. Netflix has officially declared that the forthcoming third season will be the conclusive one, which the show’s creators believe will offer a fitting conclusion.
“From the onset of our work on this project, we saw three seasons as the optimum duration to bring the narrative of the Locke clan and their escapades at Keyhouse to a gratifying end,” stated executive producers and co-showrunners Carlton Cuse and Meredith. “As storytellers, we feel privileged to have been able to present our interpretation of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez’s remarkable tale exactly as we envisioned it. The mystical keys, however, will remain in our possession for personal use.”

Principal photography for the last eight episodes of the third season has already wrapped up with post-production now in progress. Netflix has not disclosed the specific release date for the final season yet, but it is anticipated to be available before the conclusion of 2022.
