Floridian Sets World Record for Movie Watching
The film Spider-Man: No Way Home from 2021 was exceptionally enthralling, a definite must-see for fervent Marvel enthusiasts. Nonetheless, an individual in Florida was so captivated by the movie that he decided to view it a staggering 292 times, not only for his sheer enjoyment but also to reclaim a Guinness World Record.
In an earlier instance in 2019, Ramiro Alanis, a resident of Florida, established a world record for the highest number of movie screenings of the same film by watching Avengers: Endgame a remarkable 191 times. This achievement was subsequently surpassed by Arnaud Klein in 2021 with 204 showings of Kaamelott: First Installment. To recapture his title, Alanis rewatched Spider-Man: No Way Home an astonishing 292 times between December 2021 and March 2022. This accounted for a total duration of 720 hours, equivalent to approximately 30 days. It’s important to note that these screenings were not consecutive, but Alanis had to remain fully engrossed in the movie throughout, refraining from bathroom breaks or cellphone distractions.
Ramiro Alanis estimated he expended around $3,400 on tickets to establish the record. https://t.co/AxYlxo1WEU

In his relentless pursuit to reclaim the record, Alanis went the extra mile to ensure its longevity. “If anyone endeavors to surpass my record in the future, I hope they reconsider before making the attempt,” he conveyed to Guinness World Records.
