Fans truly admire Spider-Man. Even prior to his inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he stood as one of the most cherished super-heroes ever conceived by Stan Lee, who was himself an avid fan. The adoration further escalated with the charming Tom Holland embodying the web-slinger in the MCU, and since then, every Spider-Man-focused film has been a grand success. This Friday marks the arrival of the latest installment in the series, Spider-Man: No Way Home in cinemas, and the media have already had their initial viewings. Is it another resounding triumph? The feedback is here for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and if the reviewers are to be trusted, it’s yet another outstanding achievement. As of now, the film has attained a stellar 100% fresh rating on the Rotten Tomatoes review aggregation platform, with 52 glowing reviews. While the overall sentiment towards the film is positive, some critics pointed out that much of the enjoyment stems from inside jokes and fan service, which might alienate some newcomers to the series.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is an immense display of franchise-driven audacity and a tremendously enjoyable experience,” according to Barry Hertz from Globe and Mail.

“The extensive fan service in No Way Home sets a significant benchmark for future blockbusters and simultaneously serves as a sometimes touching gimmick,” as noted by A.A. Dowd from A.V. Club.

Unsurprisingly, the majority of the applause once again goes to Tom Holland for his sincere and relatable depiction of the young hero Peter Parker. “This is Holland’s most exceptional portrayal of Spider-Man to date!” expresses Samuel Leggett Jr. from JVS Media.
