This well-known daytime game show, The Price is Right, first aired on NBC in 1956 and has remained popular ever since. The show’s enduring elements, like Plinko and the distinctive loser signal, have seeped into mainstream culture. The 50th season of the show is being commemorated this year with a special event – The Price is Right traveling show.
CBS recently unveiled the “Come On Down Tour”, a live rendition of The Price is Right that will traverse various major US cities, offering locals a chance to join in the game. Participants will have the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including cash rewards, prize packages, and a grand prize of $50,000.

Host Drew Carey shared his views with the Associated Press, saying, “The show’s ability to evolve within a set structure is its greatest strength. It’s like renovating an old house; you update the kitchen and living room, but it remains the same house at heart.”
The tour will commence on Friday, March 25, starting in Los Angeles at the iconic Santa Monica Pier. Subsequent stops will include other major cities and landmarks like New York City, New Orleans, Dallas, and more.
