The upcoming limited series ‘Loki’ from Marvel, will debut on Disney+ on June 9. Unlike the previous Marvel series, Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which were released on Fridays, Loki is set to premiere on Wednesdays. Tom Hiddleston personally announced this change a few weeks back without mentioning an official reason. Nevertheless, fans are thrilled about receiving exciting content earlier in the week.

During the Wednesdays leading up to the premiere of ‘Loki’, Disney+ will be utilizing this time to provide a recap of Loki’s journey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recent news from the official Disney+ Twitter account states that commencing today, May 12, and continuing every Wednesday until June 9, the platform will host watch parties showcasing every MCU film featuring Loki.

“Wednesdays are going to RULE. Commencing tomorrow, join us as we count down to the marvelous debut of Marvel Studios’ @LokiOfficial with #DisneyPlus watch parties every Wednesday highlighting the God of Mischief. Engage with us on Twitter using #LokiWednesdays,” the tweet elaborated.

The schedule for these watch parties is as follows:

  • May 12 at 5:00 PM Pacific: Thor
  • May 19 at 4:00 PM Pacific: The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World
  • May 26 at 5:00 PM Pacific: Thor: Ragnarok
  • June 2 at 4:00 PM Pacific: Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame

Anyone excited to join in the fun can tune in via the Disney+ app, website, or any other preferred method to access the service and join fellow viewers by using the Twitter hashtag.
