The current Love Island series is full of surprises. Viewers were introduced to Trey Norman and Jessy Potts on Wednesday 26th June, adding to the diverse group including Joey Essex and his former partner Grace Jackson, as well as Konnor Ewudzi.

Their entrance caused quite a stir, especially when Jessy picked Joey for a date. Meanwhile, Trey expressed his keenness to find ‘the perfect girl’ and is ready to stir things up among the participants.

He is on the lookout for ‘someone who supports your aspirations and dreams,’ stating: “Loyalty is a key virtue for me as well.”

Before entering the villa, he remarked: “Something that often surprises women about me is I have a nerdy side and am academically inclined. I hold a First Class Economics Degree and have also completed my masters. Additionally, I enjoy playing chess and was an active member of the chess club in University.”

There seems to be a connection between Trey and series one’s Omarl Sultani, as the latter follows him on Instagram, although their acquaintance remains undisclosed.

Trey is currently 24 years old, sharing the same age as co-stars Matilda Draper, Sean Stone, Harriett Blackmore, Mimii Ngulube, and Nicole Samuel.

The youngest participant on the 11th series is Ciaran Davies, aged 21, whereas this year’s eldest is Patsy Field, who is 29, following the departure of 30-year-old Munveer Jabbal.

Trey works as a commercial insurance broker.
