At the beginning of this month, it was revealed that the popular k-pop group BTS will be holding their next three performances in March at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. These upcoming concerts will welcome a full live audience, marking their first official live show on home ground in more than two years. These shows are part of the ongoing Permission to Dance tour by the band.

Although it might seem natural for a k-pop group to conclude their world tour back in their home country, BTS has decided to continue their performances for the time being. Just recently, it was unveiled that the Permission to Dance tour is being prolonged, and the group’s next destination will be Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. This stop will encompass a series of four concerts scheduled for early-to-mid April. Even if unable to attend in person, fans will still have the opportunity to witness the spectacle via a live broadcast at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Furthermore, the final show on April 16 will also be streamed live online.

Last autumn, BTS dazzled the west coast during their series of performances at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. This concert run resulted in ticket revenues exceeding $33.3 million, with a total of 214,000 tickets sold. This achievement set a new record for the most successful shows staged at a single venue, surpassing the previous record held by Roger Waters at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2012.
