Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley Confirms Anthony And Kate’s Story Will Continue
Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley seem set for a comeback in the fourth installment of Bridgerton.
Bridgerton‘s Simone Ashley has shared insights about Anthony and Kate’s trajectory on the program, hinting at positive outcomes.
Avid viewers of Bridgerton might note that each installment shifts its spotlight onto a distinct pair, just as the novels do. Following their central role, couples typically recede into the narrative background or exit the storyline. For instance, after season 1, Regé Jean-Page departed the cast and Simon Basset has not been seen since. Phoebe Dynevor reprised her role of Daphne only briefly in the second season.
Even after tying the knot in season 2, Anthony (portrayed by Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (played by Simone) had a presence throughout season 3. Simone has recently disclosed how probable their reappearance will be as the newly titled Lord and Lady Bridgerton in the forthcoming season.
She remarked further: “They contribute immensely, through subtle glances and motions alone. Their dynamic is undeniably enchanting.”
Jess then continued, explaining: “It’s understandable that our significant actors, having devoted so much to their featured season, may have new projects lined up in subsequent ones. Expecting them to return solely for peripheral roles wouldn’t be quite fair to them.”
She concluded with, “We adore Jonny and Simone, and will accommodate their appearances as best we can.”
