Ayo Odykoya Fuels Split Rumors With Jess From Love Island

It has been three months since audiences witnessed one of the most unpredictable seasons of Love Island yet, culminating in a top five comprised of winners Mimii and Josh, Ciaran and Nicole, Matilda and Sean, Ayo and Jess, and the memorable duo, Joey Essex and Jessy.

Out of the five couples, three have confirmed their splits since the finale; however, recent actions by Ayo Odukoya suggest he and Jess Spencer may have also parted ways, with only Nicole and Ciaran remaining a couple.

Ayo has removed all traces of Jess from his Instagram, sparing only a red carpet moment from the 2024 National Television Awards. Jess corroborated the split in a recent TikTok, responding to a fan’s comment about Ayo needing to ask her to be his girlfriend, stating: “‘Girl’ says who? The internet? He doesn’t need to ask me anything because we’re not together. Let it go.”

In a dramatic turn, Ayo has also eliminated nearly all images featuring Jess from his feed, retaining only their red carpet appearance. He has stopped engaging with her posts and even altered past captions to exclude her name.

Jess appears to have mirrored Ayo’s actions, removing most of her content save for one post marking the conclusion of their Love Island journey. Speculation has emerged that she could be responsible for the breakup, portraying Ayo as the heartbroken party.

Unsubstantiated rumors have been circulating online suggesting that Jess has cheated on Ayo, despite her endearing portrayal as loyal, kind, and humorous on the dating series.

The situation escalated to the point where Jess felt compelled to address the derogatory remarks directly on social media, responding to a Snapchat user who accused her of cheating, saying: “These apps are full of absolute idiots. Where do you get your information from?”

While Jess has dismissed the cheating allegations, she has not directly addressed the breakup rumors, further indicating the couple’s separation.

The news of their split may be surprising to some, given that they finished fourth in the competition and appeared content together; however, it seems many fans may be celebrating, as both Ayo and Mimii are now single again. Could this rekindle their past romance?

There is a possibility, especially considering Ayo’s family had shown more support for his relationship with Mimii than with Jess when they visited the villa during the season.
