Atlus Unveils Guidelines for Streaming ‘Persona’ Game Ports
The regulations for the forthcoming releases are more lenient than usual.
Throughout the era of streaming, the video game developer and publisher Atlus has been renowned for their stringent approach towards streamers and content sharing. In recent times, their releases of Persona 5 Royal imposed numerous restrictions concerning spoilers, disallowing streamers from progressing beyond a particular stage, despite the game’s age.

In the following week, Atlus will introduce new versions of two more Persona titles, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, available on fresh platforms such as the Xbox Series X and PC. In preparation for this launch, Atlus has disclosed their streaming guidelines for these games. While being somewhat less stringent than usual, Atlus has omitted any specific restrictions on which segments of the games may be streamed, only requesting streamers to preface major story events with spoiler alerts for their viewers.

Moreover, Atlus’ regulations for streaming the games include refraining from making defamatory or unlawful remarks during gameplay, maintaining a visible display of the Atlus and Sega trademarks on the screen, and abstaining from streaming prior to the official release date. Atlus retains the authority to issue warnings to stream or video owners deemed to be infringing upon these rules, as well as to demand the removal of videos without prior notification.
