The response by Andy Cohen, the presenter of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, to claims made by Jen Shah from prison about allegations on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, has been revealed.
Regarding Shah’s denial of Heather Gay’s accusation that she caused her a bruised eye during the third season of the Bravo series, Cohen addressed Shah’s statement about the non-existence of the incident as there should have been video evidence to confirm it.
During his radio show SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Jan. 3, Cohen mentioned, “I don’t mean to state the obvious, but if we actually had footage, don’t you think we would’ve broadcasted it?” He questioned the absence of proof to support Shah’s denial.
Shah had also targeted Cohen in an Instagram post from prison, alleging that he was still upset that she refused to participate in an interview with him after her legal situation.

Cohen reacted by acknowledging his initial interest in interviewing Shah but indicated that he is no longer interested, pointing out Shah’s “unreasonable” conditions for the interview. He recounted Shah’s request for a documentary series leading up to her incarceration and her demand for a substantial sum of money, leading to his decision against the interview due to her ongoing denial of the accusations against her.
Despite the gravity of the situation, Cohen found some amusement in the timing of Shah’s statements, noting that he had recently been a target of online and phone scams, which he found ironic in light of Shah’s legal issues.
The unfolding drama will continue during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s season four reunion, scheduled to premiere on Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
